1. download that over this
2. open it with an extracting program like 7zip or winrar if you not have one you can download 7zip at 7zip.com
4. extract it where you want the progran
5. run the .exe file to start the mod installer


installing a mod or texture pack from it


1. download the mod the mod

2: 4 possibilities
a: if its a archive (.zip at the end of the file) seve it a pplace u know where are (on the desktop for example
)

b: if its a folder just place it on a place where u know where are like the desktop

c: if its a single file just place it a plac... you know where!

d: if its an .rar file open it with your favorite comprssing program like winrar or 7zip. if your not havin a program like that go to [url=7zip.com]7zip.com[/url] and install. and extract it a place where u know where are like the desktop.

3 CLOSE minecraft
4 open mod installer and choose install from single file if its a sigle fil, from foler if its in an folder etc
5. select the fil/folder/.zip
6. drag the window so that you can see the "ok" button
7. click on it
8. done i hope

I still don't think that mod installer is required. You can easily modify your game even without it. If anyone wants to know why, ask, I'll add the instructions.

i know but why sould you do easy work 10x harder?
